Description

Authentic, hand-made Japanese waraji sandals.  These small waraji were probably made to fit the feet of a child or small woman (please see size information below).  Straw sandals such as these were once a very common and convenient form of footwear in Japan, being lightweight and easily replaced when worn out.  This particular pair of waraji are made for actual use and include long cord bindings which are used to secure the waraji to the feet.  The sandals are less than 20 years old and are in good condition though they are a bit dry.  Though they could probably be worn we recommend these waraji as a decorative item, bringing an authentic touch of old Japan to any setting.
